Café Cuetlaxochitl was inspired by its namesake La Cuetlaxochitl plant, or as it is commonly known, the poinsettia (Noche Buena in México). Just as the Aztec flower has become a quintessential American symbol of Christmas, for many Latin Americans, so has drinking coffee with canela, especially during the holidays. This is a medium grind blend you can enjoy hot or brewed cold. 12oz.
Back of the Yards Coffee Co. is a Latinx owned coffee company headquartered in the Southside of Chicago. We strive to honor the immigrant working class tradition of the Chicago Stockyards through our mission that we refer to as our SEED, which stands for Social impact, Economic development, Environmental responsibility, and Direct relations. Everything we do, from where we source our coffee, to choosing our packaging, to where we are located and to the people we hire, is guided by these four principles. Our goal is to eliminate coffee deserts, particularly in Latinx communities, and change the way people understand and experience coffee.
