This charming rhyming story follows a young child out on a summer stroll who bumps into an assortment of wild animals along the way including an ostrich, a rhino and a bear.
All the animals declare that they are on vacation, exploring the world to see: “How people are living and what people do. It would have been easier if they lived in a Zoo”

Eventually, the child at the center of the story ends up at the Zoo swapping places with the animals for a short time. This is light-hearted and fun bedtime reading at its best.
The rhyme is written in the first person and since there is no mention of gender, your child can fully inhabit the character and immerse themselves in the story.
